We would like to do the 4 or 5 day Inca Trail hike starting 20/Mar/2014 and hike Huayna Picchu the next day after we finish. We are two people.

Is this available?

Best Regards,

Kalin

Dear Kalin,

Thank you for your emails and for your interest in our services. Unfortunately, there are no spaces left for the Inca Trail until July, there are still some for March. There were sold out a few weeks ago. All the information you see published on our websites is accurate, up to date and valid. This applies for the 2-day and 4-day trek because spaces are the same for both. Since the Inca Trail is an archaeological site wit limited spaces, it has to be booked way in advance. Moreover, since it is a protected site, there are strict rules set by the Ministry of Culture and there is no waiting list. If there were cancellations, those spaces would be simply lost, there are not made available never again.

However, our agency offers another possibility to hike from Cusco to Aguas Calientes, the town near Machu Picchu, the Salcantay trek. It is a good alternative to the Inca trail. It is a 5-day trek and the road surrounding the Salcantay glacier. It is not limited in spaces and we operate it from April to October. For further details on this hike, please refer to our website: http://www.salcantay.info . We have departures every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

We also offer the classic round trip by train. You can check the details of this tour on our website http://www.machupicchu-tour.com .

And if you only want entrance tickets to Machu Picchu and/or Wayna Picchu (which are now limited), you can purchase them directly through our other website www.ticket-machupicchu.com .

Our booking systems are entirely based on-line and you will find all the necessary information on our websites, that we invite you to visit. We suppose you don't need to be called back, with all this information.

Should you need anything else feel free to contact us again.

Muy cordialmente,
